Reading History's Scripts
Like most school children. I “learned” that Confederate sympathizer John Wilkes Booth assassinated President Abraham Lincoln at Ford’s Theater on April 14, 1865. The narrative says that Booth fired a single shot to the back of Lincoln’s head, jumped to the stage and injured himself, and yelled in Latin, “Sic semper tyrannis” (Thus be it onto tyrants) before climbing aboard his getaway horse. Later, the story goes, he hid in a warehouse, Union forces discovered him and set fire to the warehouse before a soldier, Boston Corbett, shot him fatally.
Just like that. Few people have publicly asked any serious questions like:
Was Booth really a Confederate sympathizer?
Was Booth drafted to fight in the Civil War, which had just ended? If not, why not?
Was there a trial or formal hearing where eyewitnesses testified under oath about the alleged assassination?
Where was Lincoln taken after the shooting?
Why didn’t anyone at the theater stop Booth?
Who identified Booth’s body?
Was Corbett punished?
The “fact” of Lincoln’s death by assassination is presented as a given. Only questions of little consequence (like whether Booth escaped) are pondered widely. Why do you think that better, more reasonable questions were not answered or even acknowledged by the narrative or those who presented it?
Consider the narrative of a more recent event in history, the “assassination” of President John F. Kennedy (JFK):
Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated JFK from a warehouse as the president rode by in a Ford Lincoln automobile. Oswald escaped capture until authorities found him in a movie theater. As with Booth, Oswald was murdered before he could stand trial.
Note the repetition of details in bold. These narratives read like the same script with different names. And again, some logical questions have been ignored:
Who was Oswald?
Who witnessed JFK getting shot?
Who witnessed JFK’s death?
Who witnessed Oswald’s shooting and death?
Was Oswald present in the warehouse at the time of the “shooting”?

The Amazon Ban: Do You Believe in Coincidences?
I linked the alleged Lincoln and Kennedy assassinations together in the last chapter of my most recent book, Planes without Passengers, 3rd Edition.* Here is how the chapter reads in part:
"...I have also dug deep about the John Kennedy assassination and am discovering more about them that I had not previously considered. Like maybe they were staged events, as well. By that, I mean that I see the possibility that John (and maybe Robert) Kennedy may have faked his death.
Is that really unthinkable, given what we know about events like 9/11?
To better demonstrate the difficulty of proving even what we think we know about history, I recommend the works of Miles W. Mathis and the Clues Forum.
If John Kennedy faked his death, did he go underground somewhere, as Mathis suggests? We may have our real government completely away from the public...."

I self-published this book in January 2020. Less than two months later, Amazon banned it. Does the reference to faked assassinations have anything to do with it? I don't know for sure as Amazon has never told me why they banned the book. But do this: Search through Amazon's catalog for any book that advocates the idea that the Kennedy or Lincoln assassinations were staged. Any luck?
This page provides my hypothesis as to the truth of historical accounts. To become accepted as a theory, a hypothesis should first receive rigorous cross-examination and independent verification of facts. Do you want to cross-examine what I say? Do you have any comments? Please contact me.
