Dean Hartwell spoke with Professor Jim Fetzer on "The Real Deal" recently about the planes and passengers of 9/11.  Hartwell's comments reflect his most recent thoughts about what happened to the four alleged flights and their respective passengers.

Those who oppose the official theory about 9/11 are split over whether planes were used.

The “no planers” contend that no planes hit the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or Shanksville (and some go as far as to say that no planes were used at all).  So they do not believe passengers died at the respective “crash” sites.

What is significant about the issue of whether passengers died at each site?

As part of the official theory, the assertion that people died in the crashes authorizes the government to pay out to the families.  This would be the routine payout of Social Security benefits and the special “Victim Compensation Fund.”

However, very few families have opted for the Fund.

No debris at any “crash” scene has ever been traced back to any of the planes.  Two of the flights were not scheduled and did not take off on 9/11.  The other two flights have been tracked miles away from their “crash” scenes AFTER the crashes supposedly took place!

Yet the “planers” make ad hominem attacks against those who follow the facts.

Is there any connection between the “planers” and the families of the “victims”?

_ When does a current event become history?

I used to think something became history when I would see a movie about it.  But with 9/11 I realize I had it wrong…

The events of 9/11 have always been best understood as a movie.  The official sources gave us the story complete with the villain, Osama bin Laden, the plot, “the bad guys are about to destroy our freedoms,” the heroes, the passengers of United 93 who “fought back,” a battle cry “Let’s Roll!” and even an appeal to action, “Get them over there before they get us here (again)!”

My focus is on the planes and passengers.   The official story tells us that they perished in plane crashes engineered by nineteen radical hijackers acting under bin Laden’s orders.  They were the supporting cast in that the official story is supported by the presence of the planes and passengers and the actions, namely phone calls, of the passengers.

The mainstream media, speaking for our leaders, persuaded us to assume that passengers lined up in front of boarding gates, got on these flights and went on to become the first victims in the “War on Terror.”  They persuaded us to assume that all passengers died at the scene of the “crashes” in New York, the Pentagon and Pennsylvania and that we should mourn their losses.

But no one forced us to make these assumptions.

Letting go of assumptions can lead to discovering facts, and even the most relevant ones at that.  Instead of starting the story of the supposedly two hundred plus passengers boarding planes at Boston, Dulles and Newark airports, let’s start the story somewhere else.

Let’s try the Midwestern United States...

Editor's Note:  Dean Hartwell will speak further on this topic at the Vancouver Hearings in June.

_ Did the Passengers of United 93 Survive the Flight?

Consider the following facts:

Many of the United 93 passengers were scheduled to be on United 91 but switched within a few days to United 93.  The scheduled take-off time for United 93 was only ONE HOUR before United 91.  Also, United 93 was making its debut Tuesday flight on September 11, 2001.

Why would so many make a switch to a new flight scheduled to leave just one hour earlier?  It raises questions as to who the passengers were and who told them about the new flight.

United 91 never took off, anyway.

How Do We Know The United 93 Passengers Actually Boarded the Plane?

We have evidence of boarding passes and Bureau of Transportation Statistics records of the flight schedule and take off.

How Do We Know That United 93 Did Not Crash in Shanksville?

There is no debris traceable to the specific plane that was United 93 that day.  We also have an ACARS indication that the flight was near Ft. Wayne, Michigan a few minutes after the “crash” in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

What Conclusion Can Be Drawn as to the Passengers?

The plane and its passengers landed safely.

_Read author Dean T. Hartwell's latest thoughts on 9/11, including whether Navy SEALs really killed bin Laden and why the public could not find its way out of the "box" that the official theory placed it in!

Hartwell puts into regular-sized font all of his work on the subject of 9/11. You will receive the following:

Part One - "Indictment of Conspiracy," a chapter from his book "Dead Men Talking: Consequences of Government Lies." Hartwell identifies many of the perpetrators of the crimes of 9/11 and states what they did and with whom they did it.

Part Two - the entire best-selling book "Planes without Passengers: the Faked Hijackings of 9/11." Hartwell gives a compelling hypothesis, backed by fact and circumstantial evidence, that the plotters used planes and passengers as props to simulate hijackings and to misdirect the investigation.

Part Three - a series of essays on the topic of 9/11 going back to Hartwell's writings from 2005 to the present. Among them is "If a Good Man Would Have Talked: the Grand Jury Testimony of Colin Powell," a fictional hearing in which the reader learns the group of people behind the whole crimes.

Another essay, "Osama bin Laden Had Nothing to Do with 9/11" is a timely and well-reasoned argument that the United States used bin Laden, first as a partner in fighting the old Soviet Union in Afghanistan, and then as a scapegoat for the events of 9/11.

Readers can also get a sense not only of what really happened on September 11, 2001 but how the event was planned and intended to be carried out. A good essay for this concept is "How the Plotters Scripted 9/11."

The brand-new Afterword tells how we, the public, become so easily misled by what our leaders and by what the media explain to us about events like 9/11. Hartwell demonstrates that this tragedy was planned well in advance and had as its foreshadowing events that took place in Iran and other parts of the Middle East over thirty years ago!

Here is a sample of the Afterword:

"The assumption of Flight 11 led to the assumption of a hijacking, in which terrorists flew this plane (and others) into targets to kill passengers and destroy property. The assumptions right from the beginning conveniently absolved anyone on the inside (government officials and agents) from any wrongdoing.

And, after hearing repeatedly in the media about the flights with their numbers and details about alleged passengers, few people were willing to question any of it.

There never was a commercial American Flight 11 on that day. Instead, as I point out in Part Two, Planes without Passengers: the Faked Hijackings of 9/11, a passengerless flight took off from Boston that morning and became identified as Flight 11 on the screens. The real Flight 11 was grounded, hidden in some hanger and available for use for fake airphone calls.

The same script was used for the other three planes to complete what became the official version of events. The gist of the story is simple: bin Laden’s people hijacked the planes, all of the passengers are dead and no one in our government knew about it ahead of time or had anything to do with it..."

Planes without Passengers is Out!

I wrote Dead Men Talking: Consequences of Government Lies and published it in August 2009.  Most of the book covered the events of 9/11 and I wrote what I thought to be true at the time of its publication.

But I have changed my mind about some things since then.  During most of 2010, I decided to research one facet of the story, the planes and passengers, and worked on determining what happened to them.  I gained feedback from my postings of essays on the Internet and finally put together my thoughts on these issues in my new book, Planes without Passengers: the Faked Hijackings of 9/11.

In Dead Men Talking, I stipulated to the idea that hijackers had taken over all four of the alleged planes and added my idea that the conspirators had “hijacked” the planes from the ground and steered them into the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

The new book delves deeper and goes over the official scheduling and take-off records for airplanes, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics.  I reveal that only two of the planes, United 175 and United 93 were scheduled to take off on September 11, 2001.  I began to wonder how “hijackers” and passengers could find out about unscheduled flights!

Planes without Passengers provides pieces of the puzzle of 9/11 that better fit the facts about the planes and passengers.  It asserts that there were no hijackings or hijackers and challenges the reader’s assumptions of this tragedy.

This is one book destined to provide answers because it asks the right questions.

For example, we may still argue about what hit the Pentagon, but now we can ask whether Flight 77 even took off and if so, who boarded it.  Then we can ask where anyone got the idea that passengers boarded.  The official story has many cracks in it, but the way to defeat it is through a new series of questions and answers that leads to a new narration of this event.

Those of us who want the truth must be prepared to face the facts, discard theories that no longer work and acknowledge new points of view.  Read, question and challenge Planes without Passengers to create a more accurate version of events before the official lies become our history.

Planes without Passengers: The Faked Hijackings of 9/11

Dean Hartwell's new book, Planes without Passengers: The Faked Hijackings of 9/11, will come out in 2011.  Here is his preface:

I do not know if we can ever discover the whole truth about 9/11. I simply present my work as a report that tells what most likely happened to the planes and passengers associated with the event.  I have limited my scope to ascertaining what planes were used, how they were used and the role that the passengers played.

One reading my work will NOT find out, for example, what hit the World Trade Center buildings or the Pentagon.  These and other issues like it are best left to those with specific scientific knowledge and aptitude.  I do, though, say what did not strike them.

We are about to observe the tenth anniversary of this horrific event and attention given to it may never be higher for all we now know.  It is simply a matter of catching that attention while I can.  So now that I have your attention, here is my hope for you: I want you to take what I say seriously enough to read it all and critically enough to challenge it.

What distinguishes this book from others on the topic of 9/11?

The book takes risks to present its case to the reader.  For instance, by suggesting that the passengers were not victims but rather people who knew something about the plot ahead of time will not make this book popular for those who find this sort of talk unsettling.  I follow what I sincerely believe to be the truth knowing that the truth is not always kind because I want to know what happened to the passengers.

What led me to write this book?

In the ten years since the events of September 11, 2001, I have seen those events from different angles.  Until 2005, I never seriously questioned the official version of nineteen Al-Qaeda hijackers and four flights of passengers smashing into landmark buildings and the ground in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.  After reading books by David Ray Griffin, Michael Ruppert and others, I started to formulate questions about the Bush Administration's handling of the events.

By 2006, I started to write critically of the official story, citing, among other things, the Bush Administration's failure to keep its initial promise to provide proof of Osama bin Laden's guilt.  The following year, I wrote a long essay about Vice President Cheney's involvement in the crimes of 9/11.  This essay, "Indictment of Conspiracy," became a chapter in a book I published in August 2009 Dead Men Talking: Consequences of Government Lies, which also criticized the official theories of the Kennedy brother murders.

Readers of my previous efforts, such as Dead Men Talking and the essay Misdirection: Following the Plot, Execution and Cover-up of 9/11 Crimes, will note that I have changed my point of view on some issues.  Truth seeking is usually a process of sorting through assertions and I made it a point to post my essays (the drafts of this book) on the Internet to get feedback from people with differing viewpoints, some of which began to appeal to me.

Since that book's publication, I have focused upon what happened to the planes and the passengers.  My key determination was the significance of Bureau of Transportation records indicating that, of the four alleged flights, only United 175 and United 93 were actually scheduled and recorded as having taken off that day.

The Burden of Proof Is on Me

As I have selected the topic and have chosen to indict the official theory with my accusations, I accept the burden of proof.  In general, I will prove that no passengers were hijacked or killed on September 11, 2001.

Specifically, as a way to prove this proposition, I will answer the following questions and more:

How many planes were used in the plot?

Which ones had passengers and which ones did not?

What happened to passengers from these flights after they left the planes?

So here I am with the best story that I have come up with yet about the issues that I believe are most important.  The reader is invited to think critically and make their own conclusion.
